Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Church!

Reflecting on the history of this parish, the Holy Spirit began his work of gathering and sanctifying his people and this neighborhood in 1884. Catholic settlers began to meet in people’s homes. In 1885 the first Church was built. Ever since then, the Holy Spirit has through all the changes and movements associated with this Church has granted her growth. Today we are part of the fruits of that growth. We stand in the parallel line of our ancestral generations carrying that light they have handed down to us. As we hold that light high like the Paschal Candle, we pledge and keep working hard to keep it burning brightly for the next generation to see and take over from us. It is only a privilege to work in the house of God and be counted as members of his household.

This parish has served this community and generations after generations. God has established her as a channel by which he wants to continue to care for his children. It pleased him to involve us in his sacred mission. Through our instrumentality the parish has continued to regenerate for God. Through our humble witnessing she has continued to evangelize and inspire people.

As I commend all who have been members, I welcome new comers and invite all who are or may get in contact with us to join us. Sacred Heart of Jesus is a place of infinite love. Come and let us savor it and be blessed by the Lord of mercy and love.
